Hello, I'm Steve. Welcome to Elburton & Sherford Pet Care.
Many of us have such busy lives whether it is back to back meetings working from home or if we have to head into the work place to earn our salary. Maybe you aren't as mobile as you once were, or you have a young family who need entertaining regularly? There can be a whole host of reasons why you can't get out to give your four legged member of the family the attention and exercise they deserve and require on a daily basis. But.. you don't want go without the joy and warmth that your treasured pet brings to the home. I can provide the service to cater for your pet's needs.
Services
I can offer group or individual walks so that you can go about your day safe in the knowledge that the needs of your pet are being met. Your dog will get all the exercise it needs and have the chance to socialise in the great outdoors. The walks will be tailored to your dog's needs regardless of its breed, size gender and character. The weather is not a problem, your dog will be rinsed off and towel dried before it is brought back into your home, but I would advise coverings to be put down where your dog will lay down to avoid spoiling carpets or flooring. I can only do so much with a towel and portable shower. :-)
I will collect and drop off your dog in my well maintained van and dogs will be kept separate in secure crates until we reach our walking destination. Time in the van will be kept to a minimum through careful planning and preparation. Photos and a route of the walk can be sent to you with your permission enabling you to see them enjoying their walk.
Maybe you have a cat or other furry friend that needs feeding, letting out or even just being made a fuss over for a short time. I am happy to make these visits to meet the needs of your much loved pets when required. No biters :-)
Please contact me for prices and details of hours of business, I can be flexible. As a rough guide, group walks will be £14.50 per dog (no more than 5 dogs at a time) and solo walks will be approximately £22 depending on the type of dog, distance/length of walk required. I will attend your home to meet you and your pet and complete a free consultation, to ensure that I meet the needs of your much loved pet. I look forward to meeting you and your pet soon.
I am unable to offer boarding due to having a very nervous cat! I will however consider sitting your pet in its home.
Elburton & Sherford Pet Care is a fully insured business. I hold an animal first aid qualification. and a current DBS certificate.
